Welp. This past month has been a series of failures slapped in my face over and over.

Long story short, I'm struggling to write inbetween everything. My side project, Versatility, has been a Walking Dead game project that has been easy to write for me, and I'm not quite done with my ideas for it, so there should be more of that coming this fall.

I've also started working on editing for Rokudai. I'm still not sure what I will do that as the goal is to actually publish it, so it's likely I won't be posting it chapter by chapter up here. Maybe I'll stick up some samples as I have been.

After DRF's Kickstarter failed (it never got any media attention despite my efforts, which waned after complications arose in September), I'm considering writing the story out as a prose novel for a start and then hopefully adapting it to its intended graphic novel format later if possible.

Art commissions will probably be slow as my financial situation in 2014 has gone from extremely unstable to steady and this month back to uncertain due to debts piling up. There's still a few artwork pieces already accounted for that have yet to be made, but after that (and you may have noticed this already) you can basically only expect to see the occasional pieces from the three artists I've been consistently working with, on original stuff for my projects I'm trying to work on.

2014 started off as a year full of possibilities that was quickly snuffed out by financial issues, and since then I've just been struggling to keep my head above water. I'm trying to keep working on fiction, but it's been so discouraging lately, especially since I've come to realize the following I thought I had was mostly only ever interested in Avatar fanfiction, not my own works to follow. I'm basically going to have to build a new audience from the ground up some how if I ever want to break out of retail hell, but...I just don't know anymore how it's going to happen.
