(Rokudai) - Katrina Kesuk Expressions (HinoKit)

Concept sketches I commissioned from hino-kit to depict Katrina Kesuk for the redesign of 'What I Learned at SRU' into an original series, currently titled 'What We Learned at Rokudai.' (Uploaded with artist's permission) She is directly inspired by Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Katrina is a college student studying English with the interest of becoming a teacher. She is of Canadian nationality and Inuit/Native American descent. Her favorite hobbies include reading, watching TV/movies with friends, and eating snacks while watching YouTube videos of varying degrees of intelligence (she likes to watch stuff like PBSIdeaChannel when she's in a good mood, and stuff like silly animal videos when she's upset). Her favorite books are the Harry Potter series, The Moorchild, and Walk Two Moons. She is the 'Big Sister' of the group, always looking out for those around her. She can be very thoughtful and observant, compassionate and sympathetic, and loyal to a fault; but she also struggles with bouts of depression, anxiety, and can be over-bearing, controlling, or judgmental. At the end of the day, she is often the 'Glue' that holds the group together.
